Senior Quantity Surveyor

Senior Quantity Surveyor - Main Contractor - Northwest London

Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 + package

A well-established main contractor is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor with experience of working across a range of sides from public sector works to residential builds. It would also be advantageous if the individual had experience of managing a team of more Junior QS' and of working with pre-contract service agreements.

The company have a number of new schemes in the area and so can offer good consistency of location as well as strong progression opportunities.

• Lead commercial management from PCSA through delivery, establishing robust cost plans, procurement strategies, and risk allowances aligned with client and contractor objectives.
• Manage and mentor a small QS team, allocating work, reviewing outputs, and developing capability while maintaining high standards of commercial governance.
• Oversee procurement and contract administration, including package strategy, tender evaluations, subcontractor appointments, and change control.
• Maintain control of cost reporting, forecasting, valuations, and final accounts, proactively managing risk, value opportunities, and stakeholder expectations.

• Previous experience leading projects from pre-contract stage to completion
• Previous experience managing a commercial team of 3+ individuals
• Strong Main Contracting background
