** What You'll Be Doing
*** Perform mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on sand and gravel plant equipment
* Conduct inspections to identify issues and ensure safe, reliable operation
* Install, adjust, and replace components such as belts, bearings, motors, and pumps
* Collaborate with plant leadership to prioritize maintenance needs and minimize downtime
* Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and equipment status
** What Are We Looking For
*** Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues
* Capability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and mobile equipment
* Strong commitment to safety practices and procedures
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
* Willingness to learn and adapt to changing operational needs
** Physical Demands of the Job
*** Ability to lift and carry materials or equipment up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, work at heights, and perform tasks that involve bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
* Capability to work in physically demanding conditions that may include uneven terrain, confined spaces, and repetitive motions
** Conditions of Employment
*** Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check
** Work Environment
*** Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
