Senior Project Manager – Commercial Construction

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex commercial construction projects in the Boise market. This role is responsible for overseeing projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate is a strong leader, an excellent communicator, and a strategic problem‑solver with deep knowledge of commercial construction practices.

• Lead and manage multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously, from preconstruction through completion.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and cost controls.
• Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams.
• Collaborate closely with owners, architects, engineers, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with contract documents, building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
• Identify risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
• Review and negotiate contracts, change orders, and scopes of work.
• Monitor project progress and provide accurate reporting to leadership and clients.
• Mentor and support Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and field staff.
• Drive a culture of safety, quality, and accountability on all projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in commercial construction project management.
• Proven experience managing large‑scale commercial projects from start to finish.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
• Proficiency with project management software (Procore, Primavera, MS Project, or similar).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• Experience working in the Boise or regional Idaho market preferred.
