The Opportunity

Our client, a premier private defense firm with a deep footprint in Idaho's legal community, is seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney to join their litigation team. While the public sector has seen recent budget shifts, this firm remains the destination for high-stakes private defense work, offering a level of resource support and specialized training that is unparalleled in the state.

This role is designed for a junior attorney who has the "litigation itch"-someone who wants to be in the courtroom, not just behind a desk. Because this is a fully in-office position, you will have daily, face-to-face access to a veteran partner who is committed to mentoring the next generation of Idaho's top trial lawyers.

Qualifications

• Education:
  
  J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Licensure:
  Active member of the Idaho State Bar in good standing
• Experience:
  
  1-3 years of experience. We highly value former judicial clerks or those with a background in the Public Defender/Prosecutor offices.
• Local Knowledge:
  Familiarity with the Idaho Rules of Civil/Criminal Procedure and the iCourt (Odyssey) system.
• Commitment: A desire to live and practice in Idaho long-term.
