Construction SuperintendentCommercial Construction (General Contractor)
Location: Boise, Idaho
Salary: 120-145K base
Position SummaryOur client is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead commercial construction projects in the Boise, . This role is responsible for the day-to-day on‑site management of projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Superintendent will coordinate subcontractors, manage site logistics, and serve as the primary field representative for the General Contractor.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all on-site construction activities from project start through closeout
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field labor
- Enforce project schedules and proactively resolve delays or conflicts
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and OSHA regulations
- Maintain quality control and ensure work meets contract documents and specifications
- Conduct daily site walks, progress meetings, and safety meetings
- Review drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure constructability
- Coordinate inspections and maintain required documentation
- Communicate effectively with Project Managers, Owners, Architects, and Engineers
- Track site progress and provide regular updates to project leadership
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite
- 3+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction at the GC level
- Proven experience managing multiple subcontractors and complex schedules
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, sequencing, and materials
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and schedules
- Solid understanding of safety regulations and best practices
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Proficiency with construction software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, or similar) preferred
- OSHA 30 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Construction Management or related degree preferred, or equivalent field experience
