Youth​/Teen Aide - Youth Camp

Overview

Youth/Teen Aides to support our Youth Camp. This position will assist in providing recreational and enrichment activities for youth and supervise youth aged 6 - 11 years for summer camp. The role will assist the Youth/Teen Director and/or Leader in the setup, cleanup and implementation of activities which will enhance social skills and character development among participants as appropriate to the program.

Manage multiple tasks for a variety of age groups in the game room, gym, pool, and other areas of the recreation center, as well as off-site centers or field trips, and create a fun environment for all participants.

• Assist the Youth/Teen Director and/or Leader in setup, cleanup, and implementation of activities that enhance social skills and character development.
• Manage multiple tasks for a variety of age groups in the game room, gym, pool, and other recreation areas, including off-site centers or field trips.
• Create a fun and engaging environment for all participants.

• Must be a minimum of 16 years of age for youth programs and 21 for teen programs.
• Must possess current CPR/First Aid certificates or be able to obtain them within 10 days of hire date.
• Must possess current Standard Precautions certification or be able to obtain within 30 days of hire date.
• Any combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge and skills.
• Background check and fingerprints may be required.

Hiring salary is dependent upon experience. The hiring range for this position is $16.71 - $19.16 per hour.
