** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, and/or store personnel by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Conduct regular and random armed foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor areas, entrances, receiving areas, and parking lots; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical calls, alarms, and/or suspicious activity, and coordinate with local law enforcement and/or site management as needed.

+ Carry and maintain assigned firearm and related equipment in accordance with state licensing requirements, site instructions, and Allied Universal policies, including weapon handling, storage, and documentation.

+ Complete required reports, incident logs, and shift activity documentation, and communicate observations and follow-up needs to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

* + A valid driver's license from the state in which the job is located is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ A Level III Armed Certification is required for Texas only.

+ A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
