“The Marketplace Cashier/Cook is responsible for providing excellent guest service by accurately and efficiently processing guests’ food and beverage preparation and purchases.”

Essential Functions- Ensure compliance with applicable Tribal, Federal and gaming regulations and Kickapoo Lucky Eagle policies and procedures.
- Maintain the highest possible standards of guest services by properly listening and responding to guest and team member concerns.
- Greets guests and efficiently processes food and beverage orders through the Point of Sale (POS) System.
- Maintain accountability and security of the individual cash drawer.
- Stock and clean workstation/venue to ensure presentable products.
- Collect appropriate guest payment for food and beverage service.
- Prepare food as needed in the quick‑service kitchens.
- Maintain a professional and tidy appearance at all times.
- Communicate in a positive, respectful manner to both internal and external guests.
- Build and maintain knowledge of food & beverage offerings to answer questions accurately.
- Maintain excellent attendance and be available for events and varied schedules.
- Perform other special projects and duties assigned.
- Demonstrate and promote KLECH core values and MAD skills.
- Manage and maintain security of confidential information.
- Attend and satisfactorily complete all required training.
- Monitor compliance with Federal currency reporting requirements and maintain accurate MTL, MIL, CTR and SAR as needed.

- High School Diploma, G.E.D., or related food service experience.
- Experience working in fast‑paced, high‑volume fine dining, casual, or nightclub settings preferred.
- Wine and alcohol knowledge preferred.
- Strong English communication skills;
Spanish or other language skills a plus.
Qualified Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas Members and qualified Native American preference is observed.

- Follow established Casino guest service programs.
- Regularly stand, sit, walk, push, pull, bend, reach, talk, and listen.
- Concentrate for prolonged periods.
- Maintain close, depth, and distance vision.
- Effective use of telecommunications equipment.
- Operate keyboard, touch‑screen, telephone, and calculator with hand‑eye coordination.
- Frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds.
- Normal office setting and casino floor.
- Frequent walking and standing in a smoke‑filled environment with public contact.
- Temperature‑controlled environment with varying noise levels.
- Extended hours and irregular shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Perform under pressure and work long hours under stressful conditions.
- Possible exposure to risks when resolving issues with difficult guests or staff.
- Exposure to various lighting conditions, including artificial fluorescent, flashing, strobe, and colored lights.
- Travel may be required.
- Obtain and retain a KTTT Gaming Commission License and complete related background checks.
- Provide authorization to work in the United States.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have reliable transportation to commute to and from work.
- Comply with KLEC handbook, internal policy, procedures, and gaming regulations.
- Acquire and maintain required certifications:
Health Food Handlers Card, Alcohol Awareness, Suspicious Activity, Cash Handling, etc. - Participate in tip reporting program.
