RN Med-Surg Nights

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect patient care in the medical‑surgical setting for patients ranging from adolescents to geriatric groups.
• Communicates with physicians, Nurse Manager or House Supervisor, or co‑workers about changes in a patient’s clinical condition, diagnostic results, and symptomatology.
• Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Performs general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.

• Must have a Registered Nurse license in the State of Texas.
• Must have current BLS/CPR certification.
• ACLS/PALS certification within six months of hire.
• Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served.
• Graduate of a state‑approved school of professional nursing practice. Maintains current licensure in the State of Texas.
