Charge Nurse - LVN or RN

We are seeking a dedicated Charge Nurse - LVN or RN to join La Hacienda De Paz Rehabilitation and Care Center. Reliability, trustworthiness, and consistent attendance are crucial for this role. The ability to work regularly and punctually, cooperate politely with others, and effectively multi-task in a stressful environment are essential.

• Direct Nurse Aides in providing appropriate care to residents
• Administer medications properly
• Implement resident care plans in compliance with company, federal guidelines, and physicians' orders
• Perform treatments and accurately transcribe physician orders
• Document residents' charts timely and accurately; complete nursing assessments as required
• Participate in shift reports
• Implement nursing policies and educate support staff on resident care needs
• Maintain a safe environment, adhering to infection control and body mechanics procedures
• Respond to staffing shortages by arranging replacements

• Registered Nurse or Licensed/Vocational Nurse in good standing
• Excellent technical, assessment, and documentation skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to organize workflow, respond to emergencies, and note details
