Job PositionWarehouse Associate
Brief DescriptionWe are looking for warehouse associates with forklift experience and high attention to detail to move packages and materials around our facilities. You will be operating a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety, driving around warehouses, storage spaces, and other facilities. You must be a responsible individual with great experience in driving industrial vehicles.
Essential Functions- Load/unload inbound and/or outbound freight from trailers/containers
- Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
- Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
- Transport raw materials to production workstations
- Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance
- Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
- Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
- Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Prefer 2-4 years of experience
- Must be able to read, decode, and decipher freight coding
- Consistently lift, stand, bend, and perform rotating motions
- Operate hand truck and forklift
- Must be able to read and write English
- Basic mathematics skills
- Must be able to pass any federal/state/local government and company-required background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol tests
- Must be able to move about the warehouse to access products, machinery, and assist others
- Must be able to move and place cartons on pallets weighing up to 60 pounds
- Must be able to bend downward using legs at the knee
- Must be able to detect, determine, perceive, identify, recognize, judge, observe, inspect, estimate, and assess product
- Must be able to communicate, detect, converse with, discern, convey, express oneself, and exchange accurate information
- Basic mathematics skills (add, divide, multiply, and subtract)
- Ability to interpret instruction
- Basic computer skills
- Prefer forklift skills
- Must be reliable and dedicated to good attendance
- Must be available to occasionally work overtime, as required
- Must be adaptable to changing work tasks and workload
- Must be dedicated to working safely
- Must be dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service
