Project Description
This project is to design and build a proxy application in Amazon Web Services platform for Thomson Reuters applications to interface with the Amazon Alexa speech APIs.
Contractor RoleThis role involves designing and building an AWS-hosted application in collaboration with product owners and technology architects. Must be able to work independently as a consultant and developer, investigating and implementing new technologies, and be able to clearly communicate status and roadblocks.
Required Skills- Minimum of 8 years software engineering experience
- At least one (production) project deployed to AWS and maintained for 6 months
- 6 months of Scala Development experience on workplace projects
- Experience building JSON REST APIs
- Using a variety of open source software and tools
- Experience with Postgres
- Experience with Kibana
- Experience with Docker
