TRUCK EQUIPMENT INSTALLER/UPFITTER

We are looking for experienced technicians to be a part of our opening team in Eagan.

• Places large truck equipment components in place as specified.
• Reads computer job orders, and job specifications and lays out plans for work procedures.
• Operates shop machines.
• Installs units such as welds, electrical components, bolts, and hydraulics on various areas of the truck.
• Drives commercial vehicles in and out of the shop as well as test-drives said vehicles as needed.
• Modify equipment, attachments, hydraulic systems, and other devices according to blueprints.
• Troubleshoots for repairs.
• Performs function tests when finished.

• Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to read and execute instructions as found on blueprints.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Welding experience is a plus, not required.
• Mechanical experience and/or ASE certification highly desired.
