Operator in Bindery - 1st shift

• Compensation:
  Hourly pay range from $22 to $40, with potential for an annual bonus based on performance
• Eligible for a $2,500 sign‑on bonus after 90 days in the role

• Lead and train crew members to optimize production line performance
• Ensure smooth operation of equipment while producing quality products
• Facilitate communication and process improvements through Tier 1 meetings and Gemba Walk discussions
• Provide training for temporary staff and new crew members
• Motivate team members to foster a collaborative work environment

• High School Diploma/GED or higher; vocational/technical degree preferred
• Experience in leading and training others in an industrial setting
• Strong mechanical and technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot machinery
• Familiarity with Lean principles and continuous improvement practices
• Ability to read and interpret safety and operational documents

• Proven success as a trainer in a production environment
• Experience operating Perfect Binders and other complex machinery
• Background in hard‑cover casing‑in lines and packaging/cartooning lines
• Ability to regularly lift and handle weights of up to 50 lbs
