Operator in Press - 1st shift

• Assist the crew on the press by performing setup and production activities to ensure smooth operation
• Prepare for upcoming jobs by reading job specifications and staging materials
• Quality check products for customers and complete transactions, bundling, and tagging
• Fill in for Lead and Mid‑Level Operators as needed, covering absences or breaks
• Monitor equipment and product quality, ensuring compliance with safety regulations

• High School Diploma or higher; vocational/technical degree preferred
• Experience working in an industrial setting, particularly in maintenance and troubleshooting of production machinery
• Strong mechanical and technical skills, with proficiency in measurements
• Understanding of electrical safety and safe work practices, including the use of personal protective equipment
• Ability to lift weights of at least 5 lbs. above shoulder level and occasionally up to 50 lbs.

• Experience in a similar role or industrial setting
• Familiarity with offset and digital web presses
• Knowledge of safety and environmental compliance standards
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machinery issues
