Base pay range: $20.00/hr - $21.00/hr
Shift OptionsWe are currently hiring for Sanitation Technicians on 2nd and 3rd shifts.
Shift differential: $2.00 if you work on 3rd shift.
SCHEDULE:
- 2nd Shift M-F 2pm-10:30pm
- 3rd Shift - 10pm-6:30am

This is a hands‑on position responsible for maintaining the sanitation standards for the company. The role supports a safe, productive work environment and works closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure food safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions- Ensure the entire facility (plant, office and company grounds) is kept in a clean and sanitary condition.
- Follow company safety policies, including: utilization of appropriate company‑provided PPE (dust masks, face shields, safety glasses, gloves, chemical‑resistant boots and foaming suits).
- Perform lockout/tagout duties.
- Properly use all cleaning supplies and DSD.
- Work with chemicals such as qua ternary sanitizers, alkaline cleaners, and surface sanitizers.
- Participate in teardown, cleaning, and sanitizing of equipment and work areas throughout the facility.
- Observe and report unsanitary practices and conditions.
- Promote GMPs and food safety policies and procedures.
- Actively participate in Food Safety and Food Defense related activities.
- Perform additional duties as directed.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Food manufacturing sanitation experience preferred but not required.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds, stack, and/or carry pans, ingredient containers, etc.
- Able to work in a warm environment consistent with a food facility.
- Willing to work irregular and/or rotating shifts.
- Working weekends is required.
- Safety operating tools and equipment such as compressed air, scrapers, and knives.
- Work with a variety of cleaning and sanitation chemicals.
- Understanding of safe chemical handling practices and SDS.
- Extreme heavy lifting required.
- Ability to bend, climb and stand for an entire shift.
- Ability and willingness to complete tasks with detail and accuracy.
- Work safely.
- Cooperatively work with teammates.
- Take direction and work with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility, integrity, self‑motivated.
- Work alone or on teams.
- Work at a fast pace.
