Materials Management Associate – 2nd shift

We are hiring a Materials Management Associate for our printing plant team in Eagan, Minnesota. As a Materials Management Associate – Receiving, you will be responsible for working as a member on our Core Print Solutions team and will be eligible for a $2,500 signing bonus upon being in the role for 90 days.

• 2nd shift – 2:30pm – 10:30pm
• Occasional overtime up to 4 hours per day and occasional weekend shifts

In this opportunity as a Materials Management Associate, you will be responsible for:

• Driving a powered industrial vehicle (PIV) equipped with lifting devices such as forklift, clamps, or trailer hitch, to safely push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials.
• Unloading trucks and boxcars, performing goods receipts, cycle counting, and order delivery.
• Utilizing ERP (SAP) and/or radio frequency (RF) equipment to obtain information or enter transactions regarding material/product movement activities.
• Actively participating in the company safety program to ensure compliance and contribute to safety culture.
• Providing data to internal departments as requested.
• Meeting or exceeding established quality and productivity standards utilizing standard work procedures.
• Implementing, performing and sustaining housekeeping procedures to maintain work area and equipment.
• Recommending and implementing process improvements
• Participating in project teams as needed.
• Other duties as apparent or assigned.

You're a fit for the role of Materials Management Associate if your background includes:

• High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as load tags, purchase orders, safety rules, operating & maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Work history demonstrating good work attendance.
• Previous Forklift certification preferred – will train non-certified applicants according to the latest OSHA rules through classroom and behind the wheel instructions.
• Basic computer skills, knowledge of SAP preferred.

• Compensation: 2nd shift differential of $4.00 per hour, 3rd shift differential of $5.00 per hour, and a bonus plan.
