#3 Operator in Subscription Services - 1st shift

We are hiring a Subscription Services Operator for our printing plant team in Eagan, Minnesota. As a #3 Subscription Services Operator, you will be responsible for performing set‑up tasks, monitoring equipment and troubleshooting on our Core Print Solutions team. For this role, you would also be eligible for a $2,500 signing bonus after 90 days in the role.

Hours of Work - Eagan, Minnesota

1st shift - 6:30 am – 2:30 pm

Occasional overtime up to 4 hours per day and occasional weekend shifts

About the Role
  • Review job specifications for material and set‑up requirements
  • Perform set‑up tasks
  • Monitor equipment and product quality; obtain maintenance support as needed
  • Perform simple to moderately complex troubleshooting related to product or equipment
  • Communicate effectively during shift and at shift hand‑off
  • Evaluate mechanical condition of equipment and complete preventative maintenance
  • Use computer‑based workflow applications to manage files
  • Accurately document activities on Tier Boards and in relevant systems (MII, SAP), e.g., material usage, equipment issues
  • Perform feeding, catching off, stacking, bundling or physical inventory cycle‑count activities
  • Actively participate in company safety programs and contribute to a safe culture
  • Meet or exceed established quality and productivity standards utilizing standard work procedures
  • Generate, implement and sustain continuous improvement ideas
  • Participate in project teams as needed
  • Provide backup for other operators to cover absences or breaks
  • Recommend and implement process improvements
About You
  • Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher; vocational/technical degree strongly preferred
  • Good mechanical and technical skills, can troubleshoot and work independently or as part of a team to resolve issues
  • Knowledge of Lean concepts and continuous improvement
  • Competent with rulers and measurement
  • Experience on Perfect Binders with up to 40‑station collators, 3‑knife trimmers, inline boxing and palletizing
  • Experience with hard‑cover casing‑in lines, collating/kitting lines with up to 30 streamfeeder stations, packaging/cartooning lines, Sitma mail lines, Aster sewing equipment, and hot foil stampers
  • Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and production orders
  • Can regularly lift at least 5 lbs above the shoulder and push/pull and lift at least 10 lbs occasionally up to 50 lbs
  • Can regularly stand, walk, crouch, bend, reach and kneel
  • Can wear Personal Protective Equipment including steel‑toe shoes and ear protection
  • Good communication skills

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation hourly range for this role is $18–$33.

Base pay may also be eligible for an annual bonus based on performance and may be part of a comprehensive Total Reward program.
