Come join the Options Family as a Desktop Support Technician! You'll be a member of a team with the purpose to provide clinical and administrative leadership and support to our family of companies. Our goal is to create and maintain a common vision for rehabilitation and to support the people that are served at our various locations.
This position is to provide support for all site and community-based staff for Options Residential Inc., Stepping Out, Connections Services, and any other acquired entities including hardware support, software support, and additional tech support duties as assigned.
It is an in-office role based in Eagan, MN
. The Desktop Support Technician will work closely with other members of the IT department and will be required to travel locally within the Twin Cities to our community-based sites to provide technical support as needed.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm. Evening and weekend work may be required depending on the needs of the organization.
Starting Salary Range: $24+ hourly, DOQ
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS- Working knowledge of IT and hands‑on experience with networking, desktop technologies, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with Office 365 administration.
- Demonstrated ability in supporting web‑based applications.
- Demonstrated ability in supporting network equipment and technologies.
- Demonstrated ability in supporting end‑users in a mid‑to‑large organization.
- Knowledge and skills in hardware and software for troubleshooting PCs, mobile devices, and networking equipment.
- Ability to work with a ticketing system for managing, prioritizing, and record keeping.
- Ability to work with a team, work with management, and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to respectfully explain and troubleshoot computer related technologies to coworkers.
- Demonstrated organization, prioritization, and time management skills.
- Ability to learn on the job for skills related to systems administration, HIPAA compliance, and security.
- 3 years experience in an IT Support/Help Desk role preferred.
- An Associates or Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering is preferred, but not required.
- A+ and Network+ certifications is also preferred.
A Valid Driver's license and auto insurance are also required.

Options Residential, Inc will conduct a Minnesota Department of Human Services Background Study on all new employees. Employees in driving positions will also be subject to a Motor Vehicle Background check. Continued employment will be contingent on a cleared background study and a satisfactory MVR.
