Omni Viking Lakes Hotel is seeking a Stewarding Supervisor
. This team member will supervise the day‑to‑day operation of the stewarding eddy department for a given shift, ensuring control and distribution of operating equipment, maintenance of cleaning and sanitation standards and supervision of all utility, pot washer, dishwasher, and worker assignment tasks.

Salary for this position starts at $23.00/hour. Full‑time associates are entitled to elect the following benefits: medical, dental, vision and other healthcare benefits, paid maternity leave, 401k and paid time off accrual. • Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow
• Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures
• Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates
• Resolves associate issues
• Can read banquet menus and perform set‑up procedures
• Responsible for all personnel under his/her supervisor
• Responsible for the proper cleaning, rack and distribution of all china, silver and glassware
• Maintains required standards of sanitation and cleanliness
• Reviews and reinforces operating procedures with his/her shift
• Minimises breakage of circulating equipment
• Follows and enforces company policies and procedures
• Attends department meetings and other company required training
• Completes other duties as assigned by management
• Follows safety guidelines and proper usage of all cleaning chemicals before, during and after usage, including proper storage of all chemicals when not in use
• Reports at all times when kitchen equipment is not in working order to the assigned supervisor/manager
• Assists kitchen staff when needed
• Ensures cleanliness of all food and beverage areas at all times
• Assists Stewarding Supervisor in organizing and maintaining inventories of china, glass and silver

• 1 year minimum work‑related experience is required
• Ability to communicate written and orally in English on an intermediate level
• Maintains cleanliness of work area at all times
• Demonstrates ability to lead by example
• Experience training and developing employees with limited education/experience
• Strong customer service orientation and skills
• Excellent safety and sanitation skills
• Creates a courteous, friendly, professional work environment
• Must be able to work various shifts, holidays and weekends
