Description

Northwest Respiratory Services seeks a Patient Intake Specialist for Eagan, Minnesota location. This person is the first point of contact for our customers, providing empathetic and highly accurate communication in support of their health and quality of life. You will set up their order, verify their insurance coverage, and build trust with our customers, all over the phone.

A Day in the Life:
  • Work with new customers to set up their initial equipment and supply orders
  • Multi-task to manage a high volume of calls and faxed orders in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers (branch manager, Nursing home staff, hospitals)
  • Work collaboratively with other Intake Specialists to ensure best practices are shared and the workload is completed
  • Gain knowledge in respiratory equipment and interpret to customers in a way they can understand

Qualifications

  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Ability to be punctual and dependable with a stable work history
  • Ability to exercise good judgement on handling phone calls appropriately
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent telephone skills
  • Accurate typing skills
