In this position, you will perform highly complex technical and analytical work to drive vendor performance through research, process audit, oversight, and data analysis for the Operations Division. Your focus is on end-to-end vendor support that ensures services and transactions are processed timely and accurately.
Responsibilities- Participate in process change and redesign to implement improvements (including business requirements and acceptance testing) to support operational vendors.
- Analyze KPI metrics to root cause performance issues and drive results.
- Create, maintain, and monitor vendor performance records to baseline historical performance, trend, and track performance over time.
- Frequently interact with functional leaders at vendor locations to provide guidance and performance feedback.
- Communicate and collaborate with operations stakeholders as needed to support overall Blue Cross quality and customer experience objectives.
- Identify opportunities and recommend solutions that increase automation and resolve system deficiencies.
- Maintain awareness of systems, processes, and expertise to support operations outsourced business units.
- Participate in assigned work groups, committees, and project implementations.
- Collaborate with business and technical units to serve as vendor champion with internal stakeholders.
- Act as mentor for other individuals in the department.
- 5+ years of related professional experience. All relevant experience, including work, education, transferable skills, and military experience, will be considered.
- Excellent collaborative, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Willingness to travel domestic or internationally, up to 4 weeks at a time.
- Intermediate technical skills (Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Access).
- Desire to excel and ability to work in a high‑paced environment, handling multiple responsibilities and projects.
- Strong work ethic, flexible.
- High school diploma (or equivalency) and legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Bachelor’s degree.
Pay Range: $77,200.00 – $ – $ annually
