Veterinary Practice Supervisor
Animal Dermatology Group (ADG) is the largest veterinary dermatology business in the U.S. with over 40 locations nationwide and more than 90 doctors. ADG provides specialized dermatology care to pets, supports general practice veterinarians, participates in drug/product development, and maintains the largest ACD‑approved residency program.
We are seeking a Practice Supervisor to lead our dedicated team. The role includes approximately 40 % administrative and leadership responsibilities and 60 % direct support of patients and clients.
Veterinary experience is required; multi‑specialty experience is preferred.
Responsibilities Staff Management- Supervise technician and front‑desk staff.
- Provide scheduling, training, and development for technicians and receptionists.
- Conduct all aspects of staff management, including hiring, performance evaluations, salary reviews, and disciplinary actions.
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Collaborate with all stakeholders to streamline patient admitting, clinical workflow, and discharging processes.
- Assist technical staff in nursing care, anesthesia, skin tests, surgeries, laboratory work, and pharmacy procedures.
- Maintain complete and accurate patient medical and surgical records.
- Support clinic operations as needed (up to 60 % of the time).
- Uphold excellent customer service and client relations within the practice.
- Ensure prompt processing of referral letters and clinic communications.
- Oversee appointment scheduling and accurate service‑type bookings.
- Collaborate with Doctors and Regional Operations Managers to resolve client complaints.
- Keep client records, anesthesia and controlled‑substance logs, laboratory reports, and other documents up to date.
- Establish and enforce systems for chart retrieval, skin‑test authorization, laboratory procedures, surgical records, euthanasia documentation, callbacks, client cards, and filing.
- Monitor key costs (cost of goods, labor, expenses) and revenue opportunities to maintain budgetary compliance.
- Review daily charges to ensure accurate fee capture.
- Partner with Regional leadership to understand income statements and execute financial initiatives.
- Collaborate with Regional Leadership to develop and implement marketing strategies within the RDVM community.
- Ensure clinic staff effectively use marketing tools and apply authorized discounts.
- Maintain clinic cleanliness and coordinate cleaning schedules with Technician Lead and front‑desk staff.
- Work with Operations to address building and facility concerns promptly.
- Adhere to maintenance schedules for machines and equipment.

Salary: $24 – $37 per hour, depending on experience.
