We are seeking a Staff Accountant with a strong accounting background and a solid understanding of finance and business analysis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys the technical side of accounting but also wants to broaden their impact by contributing to financial planning, forecasting, and decision support. This individual will play a key role in the company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy in day-to-day accounting while providing insights that help guide business performance.

The ideal candidate is someone ready to take the next step toward a senior or leadership-level role within accounting and finance.

• Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and management reports, identifying trends and variances.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis in collaboration with the leadership team.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and vendor statements to ensure financial accuracy.
• Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes, ensuring timely and accurate transaction management.
• Provide financial analysis to support strategic decisions, such as expense management and margin improvement.
• Assist with annual audit preparation and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
• Identify and recommend process and reporting improvements to enhance efficiency and visibility.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and leadership to ensure financial alignment with business goals.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with exposure to financial analysis or planning.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate numbers into actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.
• A proactive, analytical mindset with a desire to grow into a senior or leadership role in accounting/finance.
