Project Manager – Front‑End Development Lead (Capital Projects)

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead front‑end development for multiple capital projects in battery recycling and smelting operations. The Project Manager will define project needs, manage budgets, and oversee engineering contractors during execution. Key responsibilities include scope definition, budget development, contractor management, and liaison between operations and management.

$35.00/hr - $75.00/hr (actual pay based on qualifications and experience)

• Review project charter documents and collaborate with operations to define scope and requirements.
• Conduct field assessments to identify modifications, removals, or replacements needed for project execution.
• Develop budgets and schedules; ensure alignment with strategic goals.
• Solicit proposals from engineering firms and manage external contractors.
• Track deliverables, schedules, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Serve as the primary liaison between operations and management teams.

• Minimum 10 years involved in projects, including at least 5 years as a Project Manager (the remaining 5 years may include project involvement).
• Comfortable working in plant environments (chemical‑resistant suits, respirator use).
• Clean shaven for respirator compliance.
• Ability to work onsite daily.

• Engineering degree (Electrical & Instrumentation or Mechanical).
• Strong front‑end project development experience.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and engineering contractors.
• Familiarity with smelting processes and heavy industrial projects.
• Refinery experience.
• Background in engineering design and project development.
