itech is a competency-based educator preparation program helping to fill the void the nation faces with the unprecedented teacher shortage. iteach offers state-approved educator preparation programs in multiple states, enabling recent graduates, career changers, paraprofessionals, substitute teachers, and others to earn their educator licensure through an affordable, flexible, and fully online pathway. Notably, iteach was the first educator preparation program outside of an institution of higher education to earn accreditation from the Council for Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP).

Location:

This is a remote role open to candidates based in Virginia.

Travel:
Up to 40% for in-person district meetings, conferences, and presentations within assigned region (Virginia).

The Manager, Strategic Partnerships supports the Program Director by cultivating and maintaining district and organizational relationships within an assigned region and other areas of the state, as determined by program and organizational needs. This role serves as a primary point of contact for designated districts, ensuring timely, accurate, and effective communication with district leaders, candidates, and internal teams.

The Manager represents iteach at regional and other state-level events, as needed, supports the execution and renewal of district partnership agreements, and helps advance enrollment and placement pipelines aligned with regional and organizational goals.

The Manager Strategic Partnerships reports to the Program Director, Virginia.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned districts, school systems, and education partners, serving as the primary point of contact for questions and ongoing support
• Support the execution, renewal, and management of partnership agreements (e.g., MOUs/MOAs) in coordination with the Program Director and partnership leadership.
• Represent iteach in ongoing district communications to support enrollment, placement, and partnership goals within the assigned region

• Conduct informational sessions, job fairs, and district-facing events within the assigned region to increase awareness of iteach and expand candidate enrollment opportunities
• Represent iteach at regional education events, conferences, and recruitment activities to promote program visibility and strengthen partnerships

• Partner with internal teams, including Finance, Legal, and Program teams, to track agreements, payments, and candidate placement updates
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of district contacts, meetings, agreements, and program-related activities

• Provide responsive customer service to district leaders and candidates, addressing questions related to certification pathways, program processes, and timelines

• Support strategic initiatives and emerging projects within the assigned region, as directed by the Program Director
• Support the team with additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to help meet evolving organizational goals and objectives

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Public Administration, Business, or a related field (required)
• 2–4 years of experience in K–12 education, educator preparation, recruitment, partnerships, or a related field (preferred)
• Familiarity with K–12 districts, certification pathways, or education policy trends relevant to the assigned region (preferred)
