Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented ISO Management Specialist to join our Enterprise Quality Department. This role ensures compliance, administration, and control of the company’s management system in alignment with strategic goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will lead efforts to maintain ISO standard compliance through documentation, training, and execution of internal and external audits, fostering a culture of excellence and driving continuous process improvement across the organization.
This role can be remote in the following states: AZ, FL, GA, IL, KS, NC, NE, SD, TN, TX, WI, WY, and requires up to 25% travel.
- Maintain and adhere to the ERMCO Quality Management System by providing guidance and support to cross-functional teams.
- Support internal and external audits to ensure certification and compliance with the ERMCO QMS.
- Evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions.
- Analyze quality data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement; recommend and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Support setup, development, and administration of ERMCO’s QMS software platform; configure parameters and modules to support continuous improvement and maturity.
- Plan and manage projects related to the implementation of QMS process improvements.
- Develop and maintain quality documentation and training programs, including standard operating procedures, work instructions, and quality manuals.
- Ensure documentation files and history records are accurate, current, accessible, and aligned with policies and procedures.
- Deploy standard tools, methodologies, practices, and processes.
- Conduct training sessions to raise awareness of ISO requirements and ensure roles and responsibilities are understood for maintaining compliance.
- Promote a continuous improvement environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality-related field; preference for candidates with experience in the distribution transformer industry or related electrical equipment manufacturing and relevant certifications such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor.
- Demonstrated knowledge of quality system use, development, and maturity; knowledge of ISO standards; ISO 9001 auditing experience.
- Experience using continuous improvement toolsets and QMS software platforms, with the ability to configure changes.
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to motivate teams to achieve compliance goals.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and as part of a team; commitment to continuous learning and improvement in quality disciplines.
