The role

We are now looking for a M&A Manager to join our M&A team and play a key role in our expansion journey across Europe. Reporting to the Director, Corporate Development, you will work closely with executive management on our buy-and-build strategy. This role could be based in Düsseldorf (flexibility to work from other cities in Germany) and frequent travel across Europe on a need basis is expected.

As M&A Manager, you will independently drive M&A processes and initiatives critical to The Nutriment Company s expansion and value creation goals. You will be responsible for leading various stages of M&A activities and contributing directly to our company s growth strategy.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead and manage M&A processes end-to-end, including sourcing, evaluation, due diligence, and transaction execution
  • Provide insights and recommendations on potential acquisition targets and strategic fit within the company’s growth objectives
  • Support executive management in decision-making through analysis and preparation of key materials for board meetings and exit preparation
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders on M&A strategy development and planning
  • A clear path toward in the near future taking responsibility for M&A in the DACH region
Your profile

You will be a key player in our team, sitting at the heart of our ‘Buy-and-build’ strategy with a high exposure to executive management and our Private Equity owners. As such we are looking for the following profile:

  • You have a minimum of 2-4 years of experience from management consulting, investment banking, inhouse project management or similar roles
  • You are driven, structured, and have a proven ability to deliver results independently
  • You have experience from working and communicating with executive stakeholders
  • You are curious and have a desire to continuously learn
  • You are a team player with a strategic mind who does not shy away from taking on operational tasks and supporting your peers outside of your direct responsibilities
  • You are fluent in spoken and written English and German, any other additional language proficiency is meriting eg. French, Spanish, Polish or Italien.
