Head of Warehousing Germany North; d​/f​/m

Overview

Oversee all logistics operations across external warehouses in Germany North. Initiate and lead projects to drive strategic development of warehouse set-up. Continuously improve warehouse processes/performance and implement projects. Be responsible for SHEQ requirements including dangerous goods regulations for storage and transport. Leadership and Team Development of a team (10 people). Optimizing warehouse cost according to service requirements (including Controlling and KPI reporting).

• Oversee all logistics operations across external warehouses in Germany North
• Initiate and lead projects to drive strategic development of warehouse set-up
• Continuously improve warehouse processes/performance and implement projects
• Be responsible for SHEQ requirements including dangerous goods regulations for storage and transport
• Leadership and Team Development of a team (10 people)
• Optimizing warehouse cost according to service requirements (including Controlling and KPI reporting)

• Master s degree with a focus on logistics, supply chain
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience and excellent understanding of warehouse management and/or transport
• Charismatic leader with experience in team leadership and project management
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to collaborate across functions
• In-depth knowledge of WMS/ERP/SAP systems and relevant warehouse and transport regulations (e.g. ADR, Seveso)
• Strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills and strategic thinking
• Fluent German and English skills
