Senior Business Analyst

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support a major digital transformation programme within a leading insurance organisation in Germany. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving clarity, structure, and momentum across multiple work streams.

• Lead the gathering, documentation, and prioritisation of business and technical requirements
  .
• Analyse and redesign core insurance processes to support digitalisation and automation.
• Work closely with product owners, architects, and development teams to translate requirements into actionable delivery items.
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder reviews, process mapping sessions, and acceptance criteria definition.
• Support agile delivery teams with backlog refinement, user story creation, and sprint planning.
• Ensure alignment between business goals, regulatory considerations, and technology solutions.
• Track progress, manage risks, and communicate status across teams.

• Several years  experience as a Senior Business Analyst within the insurance sector
  .
• Strong background in digital transformation
  , process optimisation, and system modernisation.
• Excellent knowledge of requirements engineering
  , process modelling, and documentation standards.
• Experience working in agile environments (Scrum / SAFe).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in both German and English
  .
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote
  , fast‑moving programme.
