We are thrilled to be representing a well-established veterinary practice located in the picturesque market town of Darlington, County Durham
. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join a supportive and progressive team, with an excellent work-life balance and a competitive salary.

Salary: £60,000 - £75,000 per year

The Role: As Lead Veterinary Surgeon, you will take on a pivotal role within the practice, providing high-quality care to our clients and their pets while leading a dedicated team of veterinary professionals. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and clinical skills, a passion for delivering exceptional veterinary care, and a commitment to supporting the teams development.

Working Pattern:

  • Full-time: 4 weekdays per week with a fair weekend rota.
  • If part-time is preferred, we are open to discussing flexible working options to suit your needs.
  • Competitive salary (£60,000 - £75,000 per year) based on experience.
  • 5 weeks annual leave plus Bank Holidays
    .
  • Clinical CPD budget of £1,500 per year with 3 days paid leave for development.
  • Internal CPD training and funded certificate opportunities to further your career.
  • Paid memberships for VDS, RCVS, and BVA
    .
  • Visa sponsorship support for candidates who require a Certificate of Sponsorship.
  • Private Medical Insurance and Health Cash Plan for added peace of mind.
