Finance Executive

This is a business that prioritises accountability, integrity and doing things properly, internally as well as externally.

You'll support the Head of Finance and wider team across core finance operations, controls and reporting.

High-volume invoice processing and supplier reconciliations
Accruals, prepayments and expense management
Bank reconciliations and cashflow support
VAT returns and journal postings
Support with monthly management accounts and KPI reporting
Financial support to Department Heads and Team Leaders
Maintaining strong financial data across internal systems

There's also scope to improve processes and strengthen controls; this isn't just a transactional role.

What we're looking for

The ideal candidate will be studying towards an AAT qualification, however if you consider yourself qualified by experience, you will be considered.
At least two years' experience in a finance or accounts role
Strong exposure to accounts payable and month-end processes
Confident Excel skills
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Professional, discreet and comfortable supporting stakeholders
