Join Boeing, a leader in aerospace innovation, as the Mission Systems (MS) Solution Integration & Test (I&T) Senior Manager on the Air Proprietary 2 (AP2) Program located in Berkeley, MO.

In this role, you will lead a talented team in developing enabling processes & tools and performing integration & testing of Advanced Mission Systems utilizing modern Open Architecture and Agile development methodologies.

We seek a self-starter who is highly motivated and willing to take intelligent risks to achieve engineering and program objectives. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, multi-discipline environments and can make frequent management decisions in the best interest of the business. You will ensure high quality integration & testing across a suite of Advanced Mission Systems.

Position Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership:
  Leads individual contributors performing engineering and technical activities associated with integration & testing and associated enabling process and tool development.
• Team Execution;
  Drive programmatic execution for team development activities. Develop, track and communicate metrics to quantify technical and business performance, organize all EVM reporting and analysis.
• Customer Engagement:
  Interface daily with customers and Boeing program office teams.
• Safety Oversight:
  Ensure personnel and product safety through rigorous integration & testing.
• Technical Oversight & Engineering Excellence:
  Establish a culture of proactive technical oversight and risk management while ensuring systems engineering, technical integrity, and mission assurance.
• Process Improvement:
  Implement and enforce engineering functional excellence in people, processes, tools, and practices, while continuously assessing and updating engineering processes for improvement.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  
  Work with functional counterparts to ensure process inputs and outputs meet requirements.
• Compliance:
  Ensure engineering efforts are executed in compliance with established requirements and plans.
• Mentorship & Development:
  Develop employees’ skills through coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations
• Resource Planning:
  Plan and coordinate allocation of resources to meet program goals.

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering or technical field
• 7+ years of related work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Demonstrated experience communicating effectively at multiple levels (direct reports, peers, executive leaders, and customers)
• Proven track record of execution in a development environment
