A supportive secondary school in Durham is seeking a full-time PE Teacher to join its well-regarded PE faculty from January 2026. The role involves teaching PE across KS3 and KS4 and supporting a busy extracurricular sports programme. PE Teacher required from January 2026. Full‑time role in Durham. Inspire students through sport, health and fitness.
This is an ideal role for a teacher who thrives in a practical active environment and enjoys motivating students to achieve their personal best.
Experience and Qualifications- QTS with a PE or Sports Science specialism
- Experience teaching PE in a secondary setting
- Confident in planning and delivering both theory and practical PE lessons
- Must have the right to work in the UK
- The school has a long-standing sporting tradition and modern sports facilities developed in the early 2010s.
- Strong extracurricular sports programme
- Supportive and collaborative PE department
- Investment in fitness and outdoor spaces
MPS/UPS depending on experience.
