Job Title: Purchasing Assistant
Location: County Durham
Salary: £28,000 £ 30,000
Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
As a Purchasing Assistant, you will:
- Play a crucial role in supporting the procurement team to ensure smooth operations across the business.
- Your responsibilities will include raising purchase orders, maintaining supplier records, and assisting with supplier management to ensure materials and services are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
- You will also support the evaluation of quotations, manage administrative procurement tasks, and help maintain accurate records in line with company policies.

Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience (minimum 2 years) in a purchasing, procurement, or administrative role
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with ERP systems is desirable
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work collaboratively and support the wider team
