Job Description:

As a Purchasing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the procurement team to ensure smooth operations across the business. Your responsibilities will include raising purchase orders, maintaining supplier records, and assisting with supplier management to ensure materials and services are delivered on time and meet quality standards. You will also support the evaluation of quotations, manage administrative procurement tasks, and help maintain accurate records in line with company policies.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to develop their career in procurement, gain exposure to a variety of purchasing activities, and contribute to the company’s overall success. The Purchasing Assistant will be involved in liaising with internal departments and suppliers to resolve any procurement issues, ensuring deadlines and compliance requirements are consistently met.

Skills & Experience:

* Previous experience (minimum 2 years) in a purchasing, procurement, or administrative role

* Strong organisational and communication skills

* Proficiency in MS Office and experience with ERP systems is desirable

* Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently

* Ability to work collaboratively and support the wider team
