Warehouse Associate, Material Handler
Day Shift
Monday through Friday
Hours - 8;00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
HS Diploma or equivalent required
Hybrid-work from home and travel to sites stated below.
Candidate will travel to this site 8548 NE Alderwood Rd. Bldg B
- Portland, OR and or 4018 NE 112th Ave. Vancouver, WA 98682-15 minute commute between locations.
Mileage is not reimbursed.
Overview
Responsible for accurately receiving, processing, and shipping all items within the Warehouse. Position may also include data collection, documenting shipments and tracking orders. Strong attention to detail, adaptability, problem solving, communication, and a willingness to work in a collaborative team environment are skills that will support a high level of success in this position.
Main Responsibilities
• Packaging of parts, kits, or assemblies properly for shipping.
• Receiving of parts, stocking parts in correct locations.
• Complete documentation for receiving and shipping of parts.
• Read customer orders accurately to identify part number, quantity ordered, and location.
• Locate and select specific inventory items to fulfill orders.
• Visually inspect orders to ensure accuracy prior to shipping.
• Performing warehouse inventory controls via scanner and or through a computer
• Maintain proper inventory control and housekeeping in the warehouse areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned. Which could include, repackaging, testing, and inspecting small parts, etc.
Education:
HS Diploma or equivalent required
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in Supply Chain in a manufacturing environment
• Experience utilizing Fed Ex and UPS native software
• Excellent communication skills
• Organized and motivated team player
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong computer skills including use of MS Office programs
• Safety Focused
• Team player with high problem solving and technical aptitude
• Experience using ERP software and tools, Great Plains - a plus.
