• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience programming in C++, Go, or Python.
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 2 year of experience with software design and architecture.
• 3 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies or cloud storage.
• 3 year of experience with Kubernetes and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
• Experience with Cloud compute platforms like Kubernetes, Cloud Functions.

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
• Experience with systematic performance benchmarking and optimization.
• Experience in Golang.
• Experience with container orchestration frameworks.

The Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) File and Block Storage team is critical to GDC air-gapped, delivering robust, high-performance, and secure file and block storage services. Our team is responsible for the full lifecycle of file and block storage within Google Distributed Cloud Hosted (GDCH), from hardware integration with their partners to providing secure, multi-tenant storage for our customers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $166,000-$244,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. • Address and resolve complex issues through our Root-Cause/Remediation (RCR) process, including identifying and closing test gaps with unit, integration, and chaos testing.
