The purpose of this position is to participate as the lead reviewer or as a reviewer in formal reviews of local Children's Services program administration in all 100 counties. Reviews conducted by this position are expected to identify strengths and areas needing improvement in the Children’s Services program that enables Division staff to more accurately focus consultative and training efforts.
This consultant is required to evaluate and analyze outcome data and information that includes staffing and caseload patterns, as well as children’s services case specific information. When leading a county review, this consultant is expected to access, understand and be able to discuss data analysis of the county’s performance.
This position also participates frequently as part of a team responding to a variety of technical assistance requests.
Assists in planning and facilitating Regional CQI meetings, to include gathering and analysis of data, creating data visualizations and drafting emails and meeting minutes.

Skills and Abilities
/ Management Preferences are not required. Applicants who possess the following skills are preferred.
- Experience in interpreting and disseminating policies, procedures and funding mechanisms of the state and federal programs that govern Child Welfare Services.
- Knowledge of compliance monitoring, program reviews, resource management, appeals, records and documentation.
- Knowledge of best practices, national trends and policy initiatives that impact the Child Welfare service delivery system.
- Experience in the analysis of data and evaluation of programs and developing/presenting reports.
- Experience in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff from Federal, State and local agencies as well as clients, public, and private service providers.
- Experience in coordinating and leading multidisciplinary groups.
This position is funded in part through federal funds.
This position will close at 11:59 p.m. the night before the end date.
