Overview

The County Liaison acts as an integral part of Readiness and Implementation Support initiatives. Working closely with the Readiness Lead, this position will facilitate meetings, conferences, and other activities to advocate for, as well as foster and maintain effective communication with state and county staff regarding CWIS concerns impacting or related to Child Welfare. This role may coordinate with other CWIS business, policy, and project team members to troubleshoot, replicate, and report errors and/or unexpected outcomes within the CWIS and/or escalate to management as they arise.

This position requires significant travel throughout the state.

Responsibilities

  • This position requires significant travel throughout the state.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, change management, Microsoft Suite (including, but not limited to PowerPoint, Excel, & Outlook).
Minimum Requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, change management, Microsoft Suite (including, but not limited to PowerPoint, Excel, & Outlook).
Preferred Skills
  • Travel expenses are reimbursed using the state’s protocol for submitting expenses after travel.
  • The contractor will, at the direction of management, either ride with an employee driving a state vehicle or drive their personal vehicle and be reimbursed mileage after travel.
  • Per diem is paid directly to the contractor and most hotel expenses are direct billed through the state.
