Are you the kind of person who shows up, works hard, and takes pride in doing the job right?

Do you like working outdoors, using your hands, and being part of a crew that gets real work done?

If you're reliable, coachable, and not afraid of physical labor, this could be the perfect trade for you.

We’re looking for an OSP Fiber Puller to join a field crew responsible for installing the fiber‑optic cable that powers today’s communications networks. This is essential, skill-based work with long-term career potential.

What You’ll Be Doing Fiber Pulling & Installation
  • Pulling and routing fiber‑optic cables through conduit, duct banks, vaults, and manholes
  • Using winches, spools, pull‑tape, and mechanical equipment for long-distance pulls
  • Handling fiber carefully to avoid bends, twists, or damage
Field & Job Site Operations
  • Working alongside an OSP crew to guide cable through pathways and access points
  • Managing cable staging, tool organization, and site prep
  • Helping identify snags or blockages in conduit and assisting with clearing them
Safety & Compliance
  • Using PPE and following all OSP safety protocols
  • Working in outdoor environments, confined spaces, trenches, and construction zones
  • Setting up barricades and signage when working in public right-of-way areas
What Makes You a Strong Fit

This role is for people who show up ready to work every day and want to build a skillset that lasts.

Required
  • Experience with physically demanding work (construction, telecom, labor, etc.)
  • Ability to lift and move heavy cable reels and pull over long distances
  • Comfortable using hand tools, cutters, spools, winches, etc.
  • Able to work outdoors in all weather
  • Can climb 8–10 ft ladders when needed
  • Strong communication + ability to follow direction
  • Must have a vehicle for jobsite travel
  • Must have a credit card for reimbursable expenses
  • OSHA 10 (or willingness to get it)
Preferred
  • Previous fiber pulling or OSP telecom construction experience
  • Knowledge of conduit systems, duct banks, and pull-tape readings
  • Basic understanding of fiber cable types + bend radius
Who This Job Is Not For
  • Not showing up or calling in last minute
  • Showing up late
  • Being on the phone all day
  • Poor attitude or dragging down the crew
What to Expect
  • Mostly outdoor work
  • Underground and OSP environments
  • Construction sites, commercial properties, and public right-of-way areas
  • Physical work, long hours at times, and weekly travel to job sites
Why This Role Matters

Fiber is the backbone of the modern world — and you’ll be part of the crew that builds it. This is a trade you can grow in, take pride in, and turn into a long-term career. If you want a job where your hard work actually matters — and you’re ready to join a crew that respects effort and reliability — we want to talk to you.
