This position is responsible for the preventive, predictive, corrective maintenance, calibrations, and repairs of the instrumentation and controls of all associated facilities equipment. The position reports to the I&C department manager and works closely with Facility Operations and Engineers to develop and implement new systems and upgrades.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities- Troubleshoot programming and system faults for plant FMCS equipment, modify existing programs, and improve sequencing and alarm configurations using Rockwell's RSLogix 500, Studio 5000, Factorytalk Asset Center, Wonderware, and Ignition software.
- Perform calibrations of Flow, Level, Temperature, Pressure, and Humidity Transmitters with approved test equipment.
- Collaborate with Facilities Operations, Mechanical, Electrical, Process, and I&C Engineers to correct deficiencies across multiple sites.
- Perform PID loop tuning and adjustments.
- Read and comprehend blueprints and electrical control panel schematics.
- Maintain instrument as-built and procedural documentation, and inventory spare parts.
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of related industry experience.
- Experience troubleshooting electrical controls and instrument calibrations.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and direction.
- General knowledge of low voltage and associated maintenance equipment and systems.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must be able to wear appropriate PPE and work around hazardous materials.
- Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Work in non-climate-controlled environments.
- Perform repetitive motions and pressure involving fingers, hands, and wrists; stand or walk on hard concrete; climb ladders.
- Use fall protection if required.
