As a Security Officer – Mobile Rounds in Durham, NC
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a fast‑paced healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security‑related incidents. You will interact with staff, patients, and visitors with a customer‑service mindset while documenting observations and activity using computer and/or tablet tools.

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out Allied Universal security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction and/or check‑in procedures as required by site policy, reporting suspicious behavior or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including de‑escalation support and timely notification to site leadership and/or emergency services when needed.
• Document incidents, patrol activity, and observations in daily logs and written reports, and communicate updates during shift transitions.

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
