Security Officer - Transportation Terminal Patrol
As a Security Officer – Transportation Terminal Patrol in Durham, NC, you will monitor, patrol, and safeguard clients across a range of industry sectors. Your presence deters incidents, supports exceptional customer service, and maintains a secure environment for all.
Responsibilities- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the transportation facility and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and suspicious behavior.
- Minimum 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to background investigation per federal, state, and local laws.
- Will be subject to a drug screen as permitted by law.
- Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
- Licensing requirements per state/local laws may apply.
Position Type: Full Time
Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour
