Position Summary:
As a Senior Meat Cutter you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
- Be a Team Member – Collaborates with cross‑functional teams and helps educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicates effectively and develops interpersonal skills for providing customer service; stays flexible to the needs of the business; tracks goods, maintains in‑stock levels, and controls shrinkage.
- Be an Expert – Maintains an in‑depth knowledge of the various types and seasonality of different meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations; provides meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications (cutting, slicing, grinding, wrapping) while ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management.
- Be a Techie – Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; utilizes handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them.
- Be an Owner – Drives business results, ensures operational excellence, plans for profitability, maintains a work area according to company policies and procedures, and ensures quality and standards for high‑volume meat products; eliminates waste, secures fragile and high‑shrink merchandise, assists members with purchasing decisions, and ensures merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored.
- Be a Talent Ambassador – Advocates for the department and the club by valuing the members’ experience in the meat area and modeling high‑quality service and products; executes basics at the highest possible level of quality and interacts with associates to understand roadblocks and assists in training them to perform job‑related duties as assigned.
- Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; implements related action plans using the Open Door Policy; applies policies, data, and resources to collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners.

Hourly wage range: $18.00 to $25.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage.
Additional compensation: premiums may be paid ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour, depending on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
Minimum Qualifications- 6 months’ experience working in a fresh production department.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Completes required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if hired.
- Experience in a Meat Processing Area.
