Full Time Merchandiser – Central Garden & Pet – Durham, NC

Our Garden Group, providing sales support and logistics for both proprietary and consumer‑recognized brands, is searching for a full‑time Merchandiser to manage product displays in home‑improvement centers such as Lowe’s, Home Depot, and Walmart. The role involves stocking and arranging displays for grass seed, chemicals, and clay pottery.

• Down‑stocking and maintaining set integrity for Central Garden grass seed, chemicals, bird feed, fertilizer, and clay pottery.
• Setting and maintaining shelves according to retailer‑mandated planograms and modulars.
• Installing and maintaining off‑shelf display opportunities for Central Garden products.
• Engaging with consumers on weekends during peak season (training provided).

• Previous merchandising experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with store management and consumers.
• Strong reading skills for understanding packaging labels and re‑tagging projects.
• Must be able to bend, pull, and lift 50 lbs. consistently throughout the workday.
• Must be able to climb ladders, use a pallet jack, and hand‑powered tools.
• Valid driver’s license in the state of residence, good driving record, reliable transportation,
