40 hours/week - Full Time - Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 am - 7:00 pm

• Assists the Chef or Sous Chef with food preparation activities such as chopping, peeling, washing as directed.
• Assists other kitchen staff with proper food and supply dating, labeling and stocking, as requested.
• Ensures that all surfaces in the kitchen environment, to include the kitchen, dining and catering areas and all associated equipment, are clean and sanitized.
• Washes dishes and maintains overall area cleanliness to meet Serv Safe and state Food Code requirements.
• Maintain appropriate, therapeutic boundaries with patients and families at all time including adherence to HIPAA compliance.

• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Culinary Assistant Certification but not necessary
• Safe Food Handling upon or within 90 days of hire
• Previous kitchen and dishwashing experience.
