Position Summary
Contribute to development of new products and support existing products to meet objectives of Global R&D Industry using the BACTALERT reagents and instruments for Pharma Quality Control. Generate data to support feasibility concepts for industry applications of BACTALERT reagents and instruments.
Primary Duties- Bachelor's degree required in Life Science, Micro or Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or related science field.
- Knowledge of method validation within Pharma industry is preferred.
- Experience in product development with microbiology field is preferred.
- Proficient in skills necessary for good laboratory safety, aseptic technique, and basic microbiology technique preferred.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
- Ability to remain in stationary position, either sitting or standing, for prolonged periods.
- Ability to operate office equipment, computers, phones, and the like.
- Ability to wear PPE correctly most of the day.
- Ability to move equipment weighing up to 25 lbs. in all directions.
- Domestic travel required: 5%
- International travel required: 5%
- Total travel: 10%
- Position is lab-based and follows work practices for working with laboratory biohazards and chemical hazards.
The estimated salary range for this role is between $68,000 and $96,000
. This role is eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and individual performance per bio Merieux’s bonus program. This range may differ from ranges offered for similar positions elsewhere in the country given differences in cost of living. Actual compensation within this range is determined based on the successful candidate’s experience and will be presented in writing at the time of the offer.
