- The Research Technician will assist with organizing and maintaining the lab (e.g. preparation of lab stock solutions, autoclave, lab maintenance, inventorying/ordering chemicals, samples, and supplies).
- The Research Technician will assist the PI and lab members with their experiments and will also run experiments independently as trained. Techniques include human endothelial cell culture, dissection of mouse tissues including blood vessel, immunocytochemistry, immunohistochemistry, qPCR, western blot, and microscopic imaging.
- The Research Technician will assist with managing the mouse colony (eg. genotyping).
Demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
Management Preferences- Strong educational background in Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
- Laboratory experience with molecular biology techniques and/or mouse work are preferred.
