Responsibilities
- Responsible for transforming active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) into safe, stable, and effective medicinal products like tablets, liquids, or injectables
- Utilizing techniques such as HPLC, GC, and spectroscopy to characterize materials and verify product performance.
- Collaborating with manufacturing teams to transition formulations from small laboratory batches to full-scale commercial production.
- Preparing technical documentation for FDA or EMA submissions and ensuring all work follows Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
- Identifying and resolving issues related to solubility, ingredient compatibility, or manufacturing failures
- 1+ year of experience as formulation chemist/technician in pharmaceutical environment.
